Brewers Come Up Short in Brookings
The Brewers advanced to the championship game in the Brookings Tourney but could not overcome a big early deficit, losing to the Jamestown Elks. An uncharacteristic fit of fielding errors - 5 committed in the first 2 innings - doomed the team early. The Brewers beat Brookings and the Jamestown Merchants to advance to the championship game.
