Moorhead Brewers

The Brewers '09 campaign came to end in the sweet sixteen round 2 of the MN State Class "C" Tournament.  The team hoped to come out on top in this must-win situation to stay alive and reach the double-elimination round.  Hanska proved to be a tough opponent, jumping to an early 6-0 lead.  The Brewers attempted a comeback.  Josh Dietz hit a 2-run HR to get the team within 3 runs in the 6th, but ultimately the team could not hold Hanska in check.  The Brewers were disappointed to suffer an unusual lopsided defeat.
