Moorhead Brewers

The Brewers are once again sponsoring a team in the 18+ wood bat division of the NABA World Series in Phoenix.  The 18+ wood bat has 18 teams this year and is considered the top division as there is no roster limitation on players with professional status.  This year's team has been bolstered by several all-star players including Zach Femrite (Cold Spring Springers), Ryan Seifert and Justin Johnson (Chaska), Scott Hollingsworth (Jordan), Ryan Greene (Mankato) and Sam Rothstein (St. Martin).  Aaron Olson (Shakopee) returns from last year's squad and teammate Curt Hartfiel is joining as well.

The Brewers got a tough pool draw and will play two of the top amateur teams in the country back-to-back on Thursday (LA Bruins and NY/NJ Whitesox).  The Brewers look forward to competing and having a good showing for Minnesota Baseball as they are the only squad from the upper midwest.  The schedule has the Brewers playing at Goodyear Stadium (home of the Indians and Reds spring training) on Friday morning.  Watch for updates and photos!
