Playoff time always brings out the best in the Moorhead Brewersand last season was no different as they defeated the Moorhead Miners in the West Central League Playoffs after losing the 1st game of the series. The Brewers continued their domination at the Region 12 tournament out-scoring their opponents (Bagley and East Grand Forks) 38-7 in three games to earn the top seed from the region heading into the Minnesota Class C State Tourna-ment. The Brewers faced the Maple Plain Diamond Devils and were defeated 3-2 in a close fought battle to end their season at 18-13.
