After 3 consecutive game cancellations, the Brewers got a much needed workout from the Fergus Falls Canes on a breezy Friday night at DeLagoon Field in Fergus Falls.  The Brewer bats looked good in the first inning, but then fell silent the rest of the way in the 9 inning contest.  Austin Baukol was the starting pitcher for the Brewers and threw 6 solid innings, holding the Canes to just one run.  Brook Lyter and Mike Peschel pitched in relief, with Peschel earning the save.  Jeremy Peschel was 2 for 4 to lead the offense. The West Central League playoffs are now right around the corner.  The Brewers have earned the number one seed and will face the winner of the Expos vs. Miners in a 3 game series starting Wednesday, July 23rd.  The Brewers will face the Jamestown Merchants on Wednesday.
