The 2nd Annual Northwest Baseball Championships kicks off on Thursday night at Jack Williams Stadium with the home town Moorhead Brewers taking on Pelican Rapids at 7:30pm. The tournament will be played at Jack Williams and Matson Fields throughout the weekend, featuring 12 outstanding Minnesota class B and C state qualifying teams including Austin Grayhounds, Victoria Vics, Shakopee Indians, Pelican Rapids Lakers, Jordan Brewers, Fort Ripley Rebels, Midway Snurdbirds, Clear Lake Lakes, and Sacred Heart Saints. Representing North Dakota are the Jamestown Merchants and Fargo Expos.
All games will have full concessions including $2 beers. Friday nights games will be played at 8pm. The late game on Saturday night features a great matchup with Midway Snurdbirds versus Victoria Vics. Come out and enjoy a great weekend of quality amateur baseball at 2 nice ballbarks this weekend!
