| GAME SUMMARY |
| The Moorhead Brewers traveled down I-94 on Saturday to take part in the 4th Annual Blacksox Tourney hosted by Freeport and Avon. The Brewers opened the tournament against the Belle Plaine Tigers for the 3rd year in a row. Unfortunately they came out on the short end for the 2nd straight time losing 7-3. Things started well as the Brewers scored single runs in the 1st and 2nd but the Tigers put up 5 in the 2nd and another 2 in the 3rd to build a 7-2 lead. Tom Fuchs had 3 hits in the game with Josh Dietz adding 2 as the Brewers outhit the Tigers. Brook Lyter started on the hill and took the loss. |
