| GAME SUMMARY |
| The Brewers and Expos faced each other in a West Central League tilt on Tuesday night at Matson Field. A slim 1-0 lead for the Brewers in the 6th turned into 6-0 as they sent 8 men to the plate in the inning. Mike Peschel doubled in Tim Jallen and Dale Dingmann singled to score Peschel. Jeremy Peschel, fresh off the 15-day DL smashed a 2-run bomb to provide the knockout blow to the Expos. Gabe Shockman started for the Brewers and threw 5 strong innings only allowing 1 hit and striking out 5 Expos. Tom Fuchs and Matt Oye pitched 2 innings apiece of no-hit relief. With the win the Brewers remained perfect in league play with a 5-0 mark. |
