GAME SUMMARY
The Moorhead Brewers travleled down to Maple Lake to take on Todd Fuller's old squad Friday night at Irish Stadium. The game was scoreless after 2 innings until the Brewers got on the board courtesy Chris Clemenson's 2-out double to score Matt Oye. The Brewers would then erupt for 10 runs in the top of the 4th to break the game wide open. Todd Fuller walked to start the inning then Dale Dingmann's liner to left was misplayed with one away to put runners at first and second. Jeremy Peschel singled to load the bases and after Oye's smash to third was too hot to handle to score Fuller. Tim Jallen's walk brought in Dingmann which was followed by run scoring singles off the bats of Mike Peschel and Ryan Olson to make it 5-0 in favor of the Brewers. The inning would continue and Fuller drove in 2 with a double to the gap followed by Josh Dietz's single that drove in 2 as well to push the lead to 10-0. Dingmann's deep double down the left field line plated Dietz to close out the scoring barrage in the 4th. Dietz's crushed a solo homerun to left center in the 6th to put the Brewers ahead comfortably 12-0. With ample run support Brewer starting pitcher Kyle Kingsley worked 5 complete to earn the win. Kingsley was sharp on the evening only allowing 3 Laker hits and yielding no runs. Matt Oye and Tim Jallen closed out the 6th and 7th and the Brewers streaked to their 12 consecutive win by the final score of 12-1 over the Lakers. Dietz had a huge night collecting 3 hits and driving in 3. Jeremy Peschel was 2-3 with 1 RBI as the Brewers banged out 11 hits on the night. The Brewers next travel to take on the Saints of Dassel Cokato Saturday night to finish the mini road trip with game time 7pm at Dassel Ballpark.
