WP -- C. Clemenson

GAME SUMMARY
The Moorhead Brewers and the Jamestown Elks took to Matson Field on Tuesday evening in their 3rd meeting on the 2010 season. The Elks jumped out to a 4-0 lead after 2 complete as the Brewers looked a bit lethargic to start the contest. They were able to get back in the game by cutting the lead to 4-2 in the home half of the 4th as Tim Jallen scored on Chris Clemenson's RBI single and Jeremy Peschel was driven in by Tom Fuch's single. Behind 5-2 in the 7th the Brewers rallied to push across 4 runs in the inning. Todd Fuller and Pat Lisko drew walks to start the rally and after a strikeout Jallen received a free pass to load the bases. Jeremy Peschel walked to drive in a run and a costly Elks miscue in the field brought in Lisko and Jallen to tie the game. Peschel would later reach home on a wild pitch to give the Brewers a 6-5 lead. The Elks responded with 2 runs of their own to regain the lead in the top of the 8th but couldn't hold as Todd Fuller's solo homer in the bottom of the inning tied the game at 7-7. The game would remain that way until the bottom of the 12th inning when Jordan Doschadis led off with a single. Doschadis advanced to third after swiping second and moving to third on an errant throw by the Elks catcher. Peschel and Clemenson were walked intentionally to load the bases bringing up Tom Fuchs. The Brewers left fielder was up to the task as he drove a 2-1 pitch deep to right field plating Doschadis with the winning run and extending the Brewers win streak to 15 in a row. Clemenson earned the victory in relief as he and Jallen held the Elks to a single hit the last 6 innings. The Brewers look to continue their hot streak tomorrow night against the Jamestown Merchants at Helling Field with game time scheduled for 7pm.
