GAME SUMMARY
The Moorhead Brewers met the Mayville RedCaps at Matson Field on Wednesday night looking to avenge a loss earlier this year. The Brewers were held hitless until the 6th inning and trailed 2-1 to the visitors. They put across 3 runs in the inning to retake the lead as Dale Dingmann scored on a passed ball after doubling to right and Todd Fuller's single drove in Josh Dietz. The RedCaps came back with 7 runs of their own in the top of the 7th as weak Brewer defense committed 3 errors in the inning and the squad from Mayville looked to claim victory in the contest. Trailing 9-4 the Brewers came back and cut into the RedCap lead in the bottom of the inning as Fuller's infield single plated Dingmann and Dietz scored on an error. The game remained 9-6 in favor of Mayville heading to the bottom of the 9th when Dingmann crushed a solo homer to right to make it 9-7. Fuller then singled and Matt Oye reached via error to put runners at 1st and 2nd with one away. Tim Jallen reached by HBP to load the bases bringing up Jeremy Peschel. JP's base knock brought in 2 for the winning margin and the Brewers win streak climbed to 19 on the year. The Region 12C tournament is next up for the Brewers as they face the Warroad Muskies at 1pm at Tony Sipe Field in Ada on Saturday.
