GAME SUMMARY
The Ada A's and Moorhead Brewers met in the Region 12C finals with the Brewers needing to beat the A's twice to claim the championship for the 2nd consecutive year. They would be denied as the A's hit a walk off solo HR in the bottom of the 9th. A brilliant effort by draftee pitcher Vic Sokolofsky had the Brewers holding a slim 1-0 lead through 6 innings. Sokolofsky held the A's without a hit until the bottom of the 7th when a couple of chinkers fell through and the game was tied 1-1. The loss means the Brewers will now place at 1:30pm next Saturday in Spicer at the MN Class C tournament against an opponent to be determined.
