| GAME SUMMARY |
| Game 2 of the twinbill with the MudCats on Sunday afternoon saw the home team take a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the 3rd as the Brewers offense clearly didn't make the trip to Bemidji. The game remained 3-0 in favor of the MudCats until the top of the 6th inning as the Brewers tried to mount a comeback. Ryan Olson led off and reached via HBP. John Cahill drew a walk after a groundout moved Olson to second. Olson scored on Tom Fuch's single down the right field line and the lead was cut to 3-1. Todd Fuller drove in Cahill to close the gap to 3-2 but a line-out DP ended the threat and the Brewers went down in order in the 7th to end the game. The loss moves the Brewers to 2-1 on the season with next action coming up Friday as they host the Northwest Baseball Championships. http://www.nwbaseballtourney.com/ |
