GAME SUMMARY
The Brewers made the annual trip to Brookings, SD to take part in the Cubby's Invitational on Friday evening and opened tourney play against the host team. The Cubby's jumped out to a 5-1 lead after 3 complete innings but the Brewers chipped away at the margin and scored the final 7 runs to earn an 8-5 victory. Ryan Olson's 4 hits paced the Brewers 15-hit attack with Mike Peschel adding 3 hits and 3 RBI. Matt Oye took over on the hill in the opening frame and threw 5+ gritty innings to earn the W.
