| GAME SUMMARY |
| The Brewers and Cyclones squared off in the winner's bracket of the Section 7B tournament in Cold Spring on Saturday afternoon. Brook Lyter and Nick Anderson matched zeros through 4 complete innings until the Cyclones scored 3 unearned runs in the top of the 5th inning. The Sauk Rapids lead extended to 5-0 after the top of the 7th when Brewer defensive miscues led to 2 runs. The Brewers did come back with a single run in the bottom of the 7th to cut into the lead to 5-1 but were unable to mount a further challenge. Offensively the Brewers only managed 4 hits in the game and with the loss were bumped to a must win rematch with the Cold Spring Springers. |
