GAME SUMMARY
The Moorhead Brewers hosted the Fergus Falls Hurricanes on a beautiful Sunday evening at Matson Field. The Canes took an early lead in the top of the 1st but Todd Fuller's single up the middle with 2 outs scored Jeremy Peschel and Nic Obey to put the Brewers ahead 2-1. Obey rang the Sugar Bell in the home half of the 4th inning with a 2-run homer to extend the Brewers lead to 4-1. The Canes would score a single run in the 8th but that would be all and the Brewers won 4-2. Trent Egan was credited with the victory and Vic Sokolofsy earned the save striking out 2 in the 9th. Next action for the Brewers is Thursday night at Matson Field as they host the Mayville RedCaps. First pitch scheduled for 7:05 pm.
