WP -- M. Peschel

GAME SUMMARY
Game 2 of the doubleheader against the Elks was a more competitive affair but the end result was the same as the Brewers prevailed in 8 innings to win 3-2. Lead-off hitter, Spencer Flaten, got the Brewers off to a good start with a round-tripper to make it 1-0. The Elks came back to knot the score at 1-1 with an unearned run in the top of the 2nd inning. Flaten again led the charge with a 1-out double in the 3rd stanza and would later score after the Elk's 1st baseman misplayed a grounder to give the Brewers a 2-1 lead. The Elks would come back to tie the game with a solo homer in the top of the 7th and with the Brewers unable to score in the bottom of the inning; the teams headed to extras. Flaten capped off a spectacular game at the plate by lacing a triple to right center to lead off the 8th inning. Mike Peschel provided the walk-off hit with a single through the drawn in infield to give the Brewers a 3-2 victory. Flaten finished 3-4 with a homer and falling a single short of the cycle for the game. Peschel also earned the win in relief to go along with the game winning RBI as the Brewers won their 8th in a row. Next action for the Brewers is a road trip to Enderlin to take on the Indies with first pitch scheduled for 7pm.
